In the fifties the design of the Maison Rolex are arrived at its peak, in particular for the production of watches from wrist with the cloisonné enamel dial. Rolex had reserved these enamel dials for very few models, and that more known (either in monochromatic enamel, or with drawings or scenes) they were with references 6084, 6085, 6284, 6285. The production of these dials was extremely expensive as they made singly. The artist first of all he create the outline of the desired motif by placing very thin golden threads on the dial.
