Prodotta a partire dal 1949, la "500 C" rappresenta il 100º modello di autovettura costruito dalla FIAT. Per sottolineare le importanti innovazioni tecniche, fu deciso un avvertibile rifacimento della carrozzeria teso a renderla più moderna. Il frontale venne modificato incassando i fari nei parafanghi e dalla coda scomparve la classica ruota di scorta a vista, tipicamente anteguerra.
Dal punto di vista tecnico venne abbandonata la ghisa per la testata e sostituita con l'alluminio. Per unificare la produzione, la versione "Berlina trasformabile" fu resa di serie, mentre la berlina con tetto in lamiera si poteva avere a richiesta e con lunghe attese.
L'autovettura presentata è stata restaurata negli anni, perfetta di interni ed esterni, sana di fondi e carrozzeria, efficiente di meccanica. SI ACCETTANO PERMUTE.

Produced since 1949, the "500 C" represents the 100th car model built by FIAT. To emphasize the important technical innovations, it was decided a noticeable makeover of the body tended to make it more modern. The front was modified cashing the headlights in the wings and the tail disappeared the classic spare wheel exposed, typically before the war.
From the technical point of view it was abandoned the cast iron for the cylinder head and replaced with aluminum. In order to unify the production, the version "sedan convertible" was rendered as standard, while the sedan with a tin roof you could have on demand and with long waits.
